We work with retailers and donors to provide families with access to gifts and essential items through layaway, shopping programs, gift cards, and more during our Back-to-School and Holiday initiatives. Our goal is to create opportunities for families to celebrate special moments with ease and joy.
We collaborate with retail and community partners to identify families who could benefit from children’s essentials like clothing, shoes, school supplies, and holiday gifts. Selections are made anonymously based on these criteria.
You can donate online through our website by making a one-time or recurring gift. We also accept corporate sponsorships and employer-matching gifts.

Checks can be made payable to Pay Away The Layaway and sent to c/o Edward Charles Foundation, 269 S Beverly Drive, Ste 338, Beverly Hills, CA 90212.
Pay Away uses Every.org to process donations and you will be redirected to their site to complete the transaction. Your donation is made and sent to Every.org, a tax-exempt US 501(c)(3) charity that will grant and send the unrestricted funds to Pay Away on your behalf. Every.org is a nonprofit organization that will, by default, add a suggested donation to your transaction to support its operations. You are not obligated to make this donation and may reduce it to zero before you finish processing your donation for Pay Away.
No, donations are collected into a general fund to support as many families as possible throughout the year. This allows us to distribute resources fairly and maximize our impact.
At this time, we do not accept physical donations. However, we encourage you to support families in need through other charitable organizations that accept goods.
